CURRICULUM VITAE George Nikolaou was born in 1964 at Ptolemaida. He finished the lycée of the same place at 1981. Then he studied at the Marasleion Education School of Athens and graduated at 1983. He continued his studies at the department of Sciences of Education at the University of Lyon-Lumière II, where he finished his undergraduate degree (Maîtrise, 1986) and his Master’s degree (DEA, 1988). He was nominated Doctor of the Department of Primary Education in the University of Athens at 1999. His doctoral degree was on the role of the Greek Teachers regarding the educational accession of students in cultural diversity. Mr. Nikolaou has taught at the elementary Education in Greece and France, at the Pedagogical School of Florina, at the University Institute of Technology (IUT B’) of the University of Lyon I, at the Marasleion School of Primary Education for Teachers Training, at the Police Academy and at the Master’s Degree programs of Comparative and Applied Teaching of the Athens University. In January of 2000, Mr. Nikolaou was elected as an Assistant Counselor of Intercultural Education at Pedagogical Institute. In September 2001, he was elected Lecturer of Multicultural Education at the Department of Primary Education of the University of Ioannina. Today he is Associate Professor in the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of The University of Patras. |
